Native to Mexico and Central America, it is a large evergreen tree that can reach a height of 49 to 148 feet at maturity. It is sometimes grown for its ornamental value in addition to its fruits.
The fruit, botanically a berry, is about 4 to 10 in long and 3 to 4.5 in wide and has flesh ranging in color from pink to orange to red.
The fruit's texture is creamy and soft, and the flavor is a mix of sweet potato, pumpkin, honey, prune, peach, apricot, cantaloupe, cherry, and almond.

Unpotted Plants - Priority shipping flat rate - $16.50 for the first plant and $2.50 for each additional plant.
Potted Plants - Priority shipping will be calculated by weight and zip code.
Heat pack used in colder months - Additional $5
All plants, unless in a decorative pot, will be shipped bare root (without a pot). All plants in decorative pots will be packaged separately but sent together to avoid damaging the plant.
Return Policy:
Healthy arrival is guaranteed. Slightly damaged or yellowish leaves are a natural process and no grounds for return. If a heat pack is recommended but not purchased, we cannot guarantee a healthy plant. If a decorative planter is broken during shipping, you can return the plant for a full refund, or keep the plant and a partial refund will be given.
